Share More of the Race Weekend
Example screens from Race Results; race data and countdowns change over time.

There are plenty of things to talk about during a Grand Prix weekend. A rider's result, the gap in the championship, or a comparison that starts a debate with your friends.

Race Results now gives you more ways to share those things. Tap Share and you get a deck of graphics to swipe through, rather than just one card.

Before and after the race

A Grand Prix has different cards depending on where you are in the weekend.

Before the race, you can share a poster, a countdown or the timetable. Afterwards, the choices include the winner, podium and results, along with the circuit and championship picture.

There is also a card for the riders who made up the most places from their starting positions. It gives those races through the field a little more attention.

Riders and teams

A rider's deck includes a race-number poster, their season so far, what they have won and a comparison with their teammate.

Team cards show the line-up, season progress and who is scoring the points. Standings cards cover things such as the gap to the leader, the top three and the title fight.

Choose the card that explains what you want to share. You do not have to send a screenshot of the whole app screen and hope your friends spot the interesting part.

Put two riders side by side

The comparison screen has its own deck: a split poster, the two seasons side by side, a race-by-race duel and the numbers behind it.

These graphics are snapshots of the data in the app when you make them. If results or standings change later, make a new card before sharing the updated picture.

A challenge for your friends

The lights-out reaction test can also make a card with your time and a challenge to beat it. That one is just for a bit of fun between races.

Open a preview, swipe through the choices and use Share when you find the one you like. If you have an idea for another graphic, please let me know.

Thank you for reading ❤️
